Considering different National Parks for vacation this summer and was wondering about Redwood.Ever been to Redwood National Park?
There are some great parks in the redwood country. The best parks are actually the California State Parks which were established before Redwood National Park. The National Park has relatively few facilities, but the state parks have lots of campgrounds.
Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is in the heart of the redwoods and has a lot of great stuff to see including elk herds, Fern Canyon, the beach, lots of great hikes through the redwoods and a beautiful drive along the Newton Drury Parkway.
It's pretty. I enjoyed visiting. It's not very big but worth a visit.Ever been to Redwood National Park?
No But I've been to Sequoia /Kings Canyon NP which is due south off Yosemite and flat out awesome
