We're going to Vegas in May (not Memorial Day). 6 of us are staying at the Palms and 6 are staying at other properties. For those staying at Palms, it is only 2 ppl to a room. The Palms is saying others cannot get into their pool. So, does anyone know how easy it would be to get the other guests in? We could even lie and say they are each staying in the rooms with the other people and get room keys -- would they know?!?! Any other suggestions? It is dumb that they won't allow others in their pool when we wanted everyone to stay there, but they jumped their prices up almost $100/night since we booked. Thoughts? Suggestions? It sounds unfair but only guests of the hotel are allowed in the pool area. However there is always a way around it since all you have to do is show a room key to get in.
Here is what you do, the first 6 guests staying there should get in with the 3 room keys you have. Then 3 of you will go out and get another 3 of your guests in and repeat the process one more time and all 12 of you will be in the pool area partying like rock stars.

You can only get two keys if two people stay in a room. Lose it and they give you new rekeyed keys, not more.
Part of what you pay for is access to the pool, not for visitors. However, if one of you walks in with the key with one other person, you may not be "checked." So if you really want to be together, pay the price for the other rooms.Access to the Pool: Palms, Las Vegas?
When you check in you would normally get two keys per room. If not just ask so each of you have a key. That is 6 keys. When you go to the pool each one of you will take one of the others. You get two people admitted with each key. It isn't dumb they don't allow non-guests into their pool. It costs money to operate the pool and that cost is incorporated into your room rate. The closer to the date of arrival the higher the prices will get.
