Should I drive into Boston? (Aquarium)?

I'm planning a weekend trip up to Massachusetts to see the fall splendor in Concord and visit Salem. We are thinking of spending 1 day in Boston to go to the New England Aquarium. If this is our only destination, do you think it's wise to drive in or skip it and see other parts of MASS.Should I drive into Boston? (Aquarium)?
If you can drive in NYC and Philly you can drive in Boston. Just make sure you have directions because the streets are confusing. But, the aquarium actually has a lot of parking around it, so you can just pick any of the lots and walk right down. Depending what time of day you go, traffic ISN'T that bad, seriously. I know tons of people will be spouting about how horrid it is, etc etc etc, but I drive it every day to work, and after driving in LA and NYC- trust me it's not so bad! LOL . . .Especially if you go late morning/mid day. You'll be fine. Also, the aquarium is great, as is the area it's in so I think it's VERY worth the trip!!! Enjoy!
You could drive to Wonderland Station in Revere and take the subway to Aquarium Station on the MBTA Blue Line.

Definately take the drive......the scenery is truly breathtaking.

...and while you're there stop in for some of their famous clam chowder.....best in the world.

Enjoy your trip
Concord MA or Concord NH?

Anyways, if you're heading up 95, perhaps you should double dip and hit the Mystic Aquarium on the way to the NE Aquarium.

And of course, if you're heading to Concord, you should definitely see Lexington as well since they're so close to one another.

If you've not been to Charlestown, you should also go to Bunker hill monument (you can climb it) and see old Ironsides (USS constitution) if you've got time.

And the food, yes, that goes w/o saying. Driving shouldn't be too bad. Just be careful. As opposed to NY where people drive close and know what they're doing, many Boston drivers drive close and do very unexpected things.

Hope you have a great time!
I live an hour from Boston, Ma and you are correct..the parking is crazy and expensive. Just make sure you get your ticket validated after parking if you park at the Aquarium...or they charge you a ton more.
If you go Sunday you may be able to find a spot to park on the street, and traffic will not be as bad.
