Boston is very compact. You can stay in Back Bay, Copley Square, Theater District and it will be easy to get to the Aquarium.

The neighborhood that is closest to the aquarium is Quincy Market %26amp; Financial district. The closest hotel is the Marriott Long Wharf. But, again, you can stay in any of the above neighborhoods and easily get to the aquarium. What is the best area to stay in if visiting the Boston Aquarium for a hotel? The area where the aquarium is is called the waterfront.

There are numerous nice hotels in the immediate area.

Boston is a very walkable city with good safe public transportation, Meaning you could also stay in the Back Bay area (many nice hotels) or the area around the convention center and still have easy access to the waterfront.
Stay at the Marriottt Long Wharf. You can walk to the acquarium only a 5 minute walk. Also, it is near restaurants. and you can walk to the Quincey Market Fanueil Hall area which is wonderful. It is in ner the NOrth End which is the Italian District and has a ton of wonderful restaurants.
Well you have a ton of answers from others! Waterfront is most common but Lower State Street is also correct, even The Aquarium District, and so close to Quincy Market/Fanueil, the North End and North Station/Blackstone. In Boston the neighborhoods change very quickly
Im sorry. I only know places near Salem,Beverly or Cape Cod.
