I love flying Google flight simulator, but I always get lost because there is no radar or map that tells me where I am. Is there any way I can solve this problem? How can I know my location while flying Google flight simulator?
Hi,
You can create waypoints for yourself.
Use the ADD PLACEMARK (thumb tack) icon.
A thumb tack and a dialog box will appear on your screen.
Move the place mark to a known point - like an airport near your place.
In the dialog box, give the place mark a name.
You can change the style and colour of the tack also.
Most importantly, click on the ALTITUDE tab.
Here select ABSOLUTE from the drop down menu
Enter 1000mt. and check EXTEND TO GROUND.
Thats it.
Make other way points similarly.
Now when u "fly" in that area, you'll be able to navigate using these waypoints.
Hope that helps
