The so-called Google Flight Simulator is not so much as a full-fledged flight simulator as it is an easter-egg in Google Earth. In newer versions of Google Earth (you may need to update), pressing Ctrl+Alt+A will put you into the cockpit of either an SR22 Prop plane or an F16 fighter jet, which you can fly using the controls listed here: http://earth.google.com/intl/en/userguid鈥?/a>
Also, if you don't want to use the arrow keys to control, you can click on the screen to use the mouse as a joystick.
As it is just an easter egg, it probably isn't the most realistic flight sim around, but it uses Google Earth's 3D landscapes and satellite imagery, which is pretty cool. I think it would be awesome if they turned this into a free full flight sim with different aircraft
