First jobbb(:?

few questions...

1. how often do they call recent employees?

do they call all of them, or just like the first one?

2. and I'm applying for DQ, The Gap, The YMCA, Claires, and Applebees. do I need a resume attached to the applications before I hand it in?

3. If the manager isn't there to give it to, do I just leave it or ask when he'll be back?

4. What do I say to the manager when I hand him the application?

5. If there is a long line, say... at DQ, would I need to wait in it, or can I just go up front and ask for the manager, or would that be rude?First jobbb(:?
1. I'm not sure why they would. If it is as a reference then they will consider the persons work history and credibility.

2. You should absolutely attach a resume with your applications. I recommend having it proof read by a counselor or teacher who know what they are talking about.

3. Leave it, but call and make sure you speak to the manager. When you do leave a good impression by introducing yourself in a positive light. Express interest in the position. EXPRESS INTEREST!!!!!!!!!! Specifically tell him/her that you are VERY INTERESTED. I can not stress that enough.

4. See above but dress professional. CONSERVATIVE, CONSERVATIVE, CONSERVATIVE.

5. I would go up front and ask for a manager when they get a chance.
