few questions...
1. how often do they call recent employees?
do they call all of them, or just like the first one?
2. and I'm applying for DQ, The Gap, The YMCA, Claires, and Applebees. do I need a resume attached to the applications before I hand it in?
3. If the manager isn't there to give it to, do I just leave it or ask when he'll be back?
4. What do I say to the manager when I hand him the application?
5. If there is a long line, say... at DQ, would I need to wait in it, or can I just go up front and ask for the manager, or would that be rude?First jobbb(:?
1. I have no idea.
2. You don't need a resume. If you're in high school what are you going to put on it?
3. Usually there is some one in charge that you call give it to.
4. They have always just taken it and I said thank you and that was it. Or they said they will put it with the others.
5. Go during a downtime restaurants usually have a time when not much is going on. The stores just walk around the store and wait for the crowd to die down.
I worked at 2 restaurants while I was in high school they were the worst jobs I've ever had. Try hard to get a job at one of the stores. Good luck.First jobbb(:?
since its your first job and you dont have much if anything to put on a resume a cover letter would be impressive to introduce yourself and your aptitudes. guy above me has good advice. thats all i have to add to his comment. hopefully you get good answers for question four cuz i want to know that one
