I know i didn't eat enough today but i cant stop. I'm struggling to get over an eating disorder! The hardest thing for me to do would be to have 3 full meals a day and i don't know how to stop. Any help ?Was my diet really bad today ?
To boost your metabolism you need to eat 5 proportional meals a day at least. Ask any fitness expert or body builder and they will tell you the same. Try to eat foods that are lean and high in protein, such as skinless chicken breast, tuna, turkey, and etc. Also try to avoid most carbohydrates (though there are healthy choices). Please read my link, it should help you gain some knowledge on the subject.

You didn't really eat very much today at all. To keep your weight stable you need to eat at regular intervals. I had an eating disorder as a teenager and no one could explain to me that starvation wasn't a good thing. I think you have a problem with the idea of 'full meals.' What about 3 'light' meals a day and the freedom to snack on veggies with a low cal dip or fresh fruit when you feel snacky? You need to eat enough to feel satisfied. I like to eat a couple of boiled eggs, oj and coffee in the am, a big salad with some protein and crackers and cheese at lunch, and something satisfying in the evening like chicken and rice or spaghetti and meatballs. Or whatever you want to eat in moderation. It's not so much what you eat, it's more about portion control. As long as you try not to eat anything much four hours before bedtime it will help keep weight off. The biggest insurance against gaining weight is to eat sensibly but not deprive yourself too much, and get regular exercise.
