What happens to the documents that i fill out when hired for a company?

i just got hired at Applebee's and they asked me to fill out a series of applications in which they asked for my social security number.



one of the applications was of the department of homeland security and immigration services.



where does this form go?



Does Applebees send it to that department or they keep it in file?



i dont want to lose my private information so i am concerned about the whereabouts of this certain application. thanks.What happens to the documents that i fill out when hired for a company?
Most will just stay on file with Applebees and unless the department requests them you're safe. Very few are really forwarded anywhere unless requested. If they have reason to believe you're an illegal alien or wanted for certain crimes then they will want them, but most just get filed away and remain there for a certain number of years collecting dust and eventually trashed, hopefully shredded.What happens to the documents that i fill out when hired for a company?
They throw it in a dumpster and anybody that finds it can open up a credit account in your name.They probably not really concerned for your privacy.you can ask them for it back but they may not give it to you because...
