Any advice for cheap international flights?

Just looking for any advice about getting good value airfares. I will be flying from Australia - London next year and it can really be at any time of the year. Any one got any advice about good times to travel, airlines, ways to book etc that could cut costs?

First you should do research find a deal on a discount website like expedia.com, when you find out how much the trip costs (lets say it is AUD1000) call the airline you are flying with and say I found this flight on _________.com for AUD1000 can I buy directly from you for 990 or sometimes less. They will usually say yes because, Airlines have to pay like 10% to that website. But if you buy directly from them they get to keep that ten percent and will be a lot happier
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
