I need to find DIRT Cheap tickets from either Miami, Orlando, or Atlanta to Tokyo (Narita Airport). I am practically willing to fly in the cargo area lol. I just need to find some really cheap tickets. It's easy to find very cheap tickets for domestic flights.. but international flights never have any truly affordable options. Does anyone have any way that they can think of to help me? Thanks for all of your help!Cheap international flights to Tokyo in particular?
It depends on when you want to travel. If you want to fly during the summer months or around Christmas, you will not find anything. You can start off with http://www.kayak.com and see if there is an Asian travel agency near you. Asian travel agencies buy tickets in large quantities and receive discount pricing from airlines and they will pass some of the savings onto you. I always go through the Asian travel agency in our area whenever I fly to Malaysia.
There's no website or airline that will ALWAYS be the "cheapest". If they say they ARE.....you better run the other way! Everyone has a different opinion on what;s "cheap".....That's why you have to shop around every time you book ANY travel. Try to be flexible on your dates and times. If you can drive a short distance to a "less" busy airport, that might help save some money. Try to book your flight early am or late pm, that can sometimes save money. Weekdays are usually cheaper than weekends.
But don't limit your search to ONLY those "well-known" travel sites (most are owned by the same company) which means not much difference in the price. They make you think you're stuck with that price! So,be sure to check other travel sites; otherwise you might miss out on a great deal!
Think of these travel sites like grocery stores, they all "sell" the same thing. So, why pay more for the same flight those other guys are selling?

Try a local travel agent who has access to consolidated fares, consolidated fares can be much less than airline or travel websites.
