Most ppl in today's hectic world don't have one month to cross the Atlantic. Most of the cruises out of Galveston go to the Caribbean or Mexico only. There are cruises from NY to England. You can take a ferry from England to France. But you would have to find a way to get to NYC. Driving/trains/buses to NY would also take several days. If you are afraid of flying, you might consider taking some classes to get over fear of flying.
