Do you include a resume with application for hourly jobs?

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone includes a resume with an application when they apply for jobs that pay hourly (examples: server at applebees/chilis, barista at starbucks, etc etc...)

And also, when you hand in your application, do you usually ask to hand it into the manager personally (so that way you can have a quick chat?)Do you include a resume with application for hourly jobs?
Well there is no one way to apply for these jobs.

You can apply online for many chains, but you may be better off walking in and asking if there are any application forms.

Smaller places won't have forms or a specific process. So have a resume and then you can hand it over, so they remember who you are.

If you are professional, friendly and sincere then meeting the manager can be good. But they are not always on duty.

One easy way to get a job is to walk into various places, ask if the manager is present, say you are looking for work, hand over a one page resume. I know people have tried this and found work in less than half a day looking.
If you are'nt that interested in getting the job... than no... don't give a resume.

I always go directly to the manager and hand him the application and resume. I introduce myself and tell him that I would really like to have and interview. "I was looking to see if I could get an interview".

A resume, and how well it is put together, shows your work ethic and enthusiasm. They suppose this will also relate to your work ethic among other ideas of responsibility.Do you include a resume with application for hourly jobs?
if you want to impress the potential employer always give a resume in addition to the application. i just ask for the manager right away then go from there.
I don't think it's necessary, but I usually do try to talk to a manager or at least come in or call within a few days to follow up on an application.
Sure, do that and get laughed at as they throw your application away.
no i didnt include that.
