A job at applebees????????

I put in an online application about a week ago, maybe less. Then I just called and spoke to the manager asking if she had a chance to look at the application and she said that she will be looking them over next week and calling the references. Except, I applied online and they didn't even ask for references... So, does that mean I should actually go there and fill out another application?

Yeah, honestly she probably only looks at the paper applications. The online apps probably go to some corperate office and the store manager probably never sees it. She probably mean she will be looking over the online apps and the paper apps, she should call you for references or let you know something online. I would not go and fill out another one. Call her again and tell her how you applied, so that she can answer your question properly
