Um i need people to answer this for me about olive garden?

ok about olive garden?

ok i might get a job at olive garden there is going to be one in my area soon and i got my application ready to go. I am asking i put dishwasher and busser on the application. Is dishwasher better or is the busser better. Do olive garden have them steam washers like after you wash the dishes you put them in the steam washer do they have one of them because its a big business because applebees has one and plus do you still have to wear a collarded shirt and a tie to wash dishes or not just asking. Or should i work as a busser. Just give me the pros and cons working as a dishwasher or a busser please and thanks so much hope i get the job. but here is another thing too i have to tell you guys. I am a little bit fat and i have fat around the back of my neck and i totally hate it so damn much i want it to go away. I just don't want employees to laugh or customers to laugh either. because if i have to wear a collared shirt my fat might show and then people will laugh becasue people made fun of me in school calling me names like hamburger roll. Just don't want people to make fun of me thats all. but just give me the pros and cons please but i might want to be a busser to try something new. thanks so much guys. I don't want to be a waitress or a hostess because i have a stuttering problem. thats another big problem i have also. So only busser or a dishwasher.Um i need people to answer this for me about olive garden?
I used to work at Olive Garden.

These questions could apply differently depending on where you live, and on the manager.

Both positions usually make minimum wage, but the busser generally will get tipped out by the waiters, so the busser will make more. ($30-40 a night)

Yes, the olive gardens I've worked at have a steam washer.

Usually it's black pants and white collared shirts all around at olive garden except managers, and head cooks, who get a cook jacket.

As for your collar and fatness - you don't need to button it all the way up. I hate collars too, and I'm not fat. I've never seen someone get made fun of for neck fat at OG. Also, there are neck sizes on dress shirts, you can find some that have bigger necks and are more comfortable. I have a pronounced adams apple, so I usually buy a neck size larger than is average for my size.

You'll get more exercise as a busser, and it sounds like you'll be a hard worker. Also, there's a speaking group called 'toastmasters' that might help you with your stutter. From your question here, it sounds like a lot of your stuttering stems from your self confidence, and toastmasters might be able to help.

Some other pros and cons for the positions. Dishwasher is very repetitive, and the management might treat you like crap (You're the ultimate gopherboy). Busser will have to deal with the waiters, who can be premadonnas.
