Ok so I'm going to apply to Applebees tomorrow because I heard their hiring and I'm desperate for a job. So my question is, is there any past or current employees of Applebees or even managers that can tell me what is the best way to ensure I'll get the job? They are hiring for almost every position and I just really need a job so I don't care which position I get. I just want to know what is the best way to make my application look good and what can I do during an interview to make them want to hire me. PLEASE HELP!How do I get a job at Applebees?
Its the sad truth of life... find out if the interviewer is a man.
If he is, dress as slutty as possible.
Hey, I worked at Applebee's once. When it comes to the application process: Fill it out completely, and be yourself. Turn it in and call back 1-2 days later and ask for the manager. Tell the manager you applied for a job and you were just wondering if he/she has had a chance to look at your application yet. This simple action tells the manager that you are serious about wanting to work there. If you do that, you will probably be hired. After you get hired, you have to go through training which includes memorizing menus and taking tests! As soon as you make it through the training part, you can start waiting tables and making money. Although, Applebee's is not the BEST place to work for tip money, but it's decent.

Just fill out the online app as-is. It's pretty easy. I'd call the manager just in case to ask how many positions are open and what kind are available. Build a strong and compelling resume (get some proofreads from your parents, it's a great strategy!) and gather 2 or 3 of your best references, then go in and meet the manager in person, let him/her know you're interested in any position. Ask if there is a day he/she is willing to set you up for an interview. Then it's smooth sailing from there!
