Job Decisions? Can anyone help?

I start my job at a restraunt called Eatin park tomorrow and Im either gonna be a server or a hostess. Well today I put in an application at Applebees and I have an interview Wednesday....What I want to know is if I get into applebees should I take it? I just don't want to walk out on a job that I just started this week? SOMEONE HELP!Job Decisions? Can anyone help?

do not work at applebees!! im a server and i know many ppl who worked there and for one its a franchise meaning the managers are more worried about pleasing corporate then employees and customers. two the servers tip pool at applebees! meaning all the tips earned at the end of the night by all the servers are split equally! so you can work your *** off and make good money but end up giving money to other ppl for nothing. they might have changed that policy so ask first! but still working for corporate restaurants is horrible!
it really depends on who you are. coming from a guy, if you have talent and great personality and maybe huge jugs and a good figure you'll get the job you want for sure. ha ha and they make it erotic
Applebees no way, they split tips equally, then u won't get what you deserve.

always take the server job over the host job.

ask the servers at both places how well they do.

then make an informed decision.



servers generally move from service job to service job.

find out how long people stay at the restaurant.



longevity of the service staff is a good indicator

ask during the interview if they have a high turnover rate for servers.
