Hosting is a good place to start, if you don't have any restaurant experience this is the only way to get to serving. Most Applebee's you'll get an hourly wage plus tips from the servers. The best thing to do is work your butt off and make it to the next position such as Carside togo or serving if your old enough. I know in my state you only need to be 17 to host or carside. But 18 to serve. Good servers can make 30 to 40 hour if you take good care of your guest.

well it depends on how much you earn. I use to win $15.75 an hour there when i was 15 im 17 now and i get paid more!!!!
