I'm 16 years old and I'm applying for a job as either a waitress or a hostess for my local Applebees. The application asks the desired wage per week, and I don't know what a reasonable amount would be. I plan to work a lot over the summer, but when school tarts the hours would be cut down. Is there anyone experienced in this field who can tell be a good wage per week? Thanks!Applying for a job as a waitress?
I'm not a waitress but I do have experience in fast food service. If it was me, I would just put willing to discuss bcuz I really don't care if it's minimum wage or more than minimum wage as long as i have a job and i'm getting paid every 2 weeks. Also, waitressing could be fun bcuz of the tips and ppl u get 2 meet...especially when it comes 2 regular customers. They're the best! I just got laid off and I'm thinking about putting applications in as a hostess or waitress. Good luck!!!

Leave it blank, as 98% of your income comes from tips. You will be paid less than minimum wage at any food retailer.
i think it would be 10 dollars and hour or evn 5
