i've been trying for a week now to lose the fat on my belly, i'm 16 by the way. i am skinny but it's my belly it pops out a little... so i can't wear tight tops because of it and i woul like to!! it does look like it's working but really slowly it's been a week so am i on the right track and i just got to be pathient or am i doing something wrong? i'll tell you what i'm doing...
1. have breakfast - Golden Nuggets (i love those)
2. eat every 2-3 hours some fruit :D
3. eat the dinner my mum cooks me- we all like our meat so she cooks that alot in our meals
4. go for a 10 minute jog a day (really boring joggin is i really couldn't do it longer)
5. dance for 30minutes- i enjoy dancing :)
6. i try to drink a lot of water but it normally ends up being 3 glasses a day
so from that is there something i should start doing? or something i should change? thanks
and if what i'm doing is fine, how long will it take for my belly to get slim (it comes out like 3cm) my goal is when i sit down i have no rolls :D thanks againI'm trying to lose belly fat, Just checking i'm on the right track?
just cut the calories way down to 1200 a day and your own body will do the rest - your basal metabolism will burn loads at sleep
a 115 lb female burns 42 calories every hour just dreaming about their boyfriends,lol...
and the more muscle you have - then more calories are burned..
everything takes time but do not get too skinny because that is a mistake that a lot of people make and end up making themselves ill
you are sort of on the right tracks but it isn't good that you do not have lunch. the fruit is good and the exercise is good.

I would just tweak the water intake to six 8oz glasses a day and have something sustaining for lunch with protein be it eggs, oatmeal, meat of some kind, etc. Also, dancing is good, so is jogging. But you can go on youtube and find personal trainers who teach you things you can do for fantastic abs at home without using machines at all. Go for it!
I can't tell you how long it'll take for you to lose 3cm's.
But it seems you are on the right track!
1. Breakfast - very good, you're supposed to have breakfast everyday to "jumpstart" your metabolism.
2. Fruit - snacks are good, and in your case, since you are eating fruits, you get plenty of nutrients and very little fat!
3. Your dinner depends on the nutrition value, but homecooked meals are usually all right.
4. If you don't like jogging, you can speed walk. Get your iPod, go speedwalking for 30 minutes a day, and keep doing your dancing! Those help you both immensely.
5. Water is always good. You might want to drink a bit more, but that depends on your body size and height, etc.
You're on the right track, just keep doing the same thing and stay on the right track!
