I have not gone on a long cruise, only on a location to location in the same state, but not on a long cruise, is it fun?

If you went on a "location-to-location in the same state," that sounds more like a boat ride.
If you have flown before, then you know what it's like going to the airport, checking in, and walking onto a plane. That's what checking in for a cruise is like. You walk into the terminal, get into the check-in line, then walk onto the ship.
Now, imagine that instead of getting onto a plane, you walk into the lobby of a really nice hotel - there's a front desk, bars, a disco, hotel rooms, a spa, a casino, shops and restaurants with free food.... that's what a cruise is like. Instead of a tall hotel, it's a long hotel that floats on the ocean.
At night when the ship is moving along (presuming you don't go outside for a stroll in the breeze and moonlight,) you can't even tell the ship is moving. It's like you walk around this nice hotel all the time. And each morning when you wake up, you're in a new location.
On days that you don't visit a port, you're "at the hotel" all day. Lay out by the pool, go to the spa, swim, visit the casino, so some shopping onboard.... it's really a nice way to go.
I love cruises and have gone on several and mostly I have cruised alone...... I have met some wonderful people that now are friends, the table at nite in dining room is so much fun, shore tours are a great way to see and do stuff even if you are alone cause you can stay with group from ship and lots of times you meet other women whos husbands are off somewhere on ship and so you chat or not it is really all about youHave You Ever Gone on a Cruise?
I love cruises and i have been on 8 of them, and at least 2 more are planned. They are a great way to travel. You pay one fare that includes your room, restaurants, and travel. You have to pay extra for alcohol and soft drinks as well as spa/beauty treatments.
There are loads of activities to do,including karaoke, card games/tournaments, casino, cooking demonstrations, bingo, and so much more.
You can try a 2-, 3- or 4-day cruise to see if you like it. There are several that sail the Caribbean for a week.
I would think so but please do some things:
Leave cell phone off
Leave your cares at home
Enjoy each moment
Try everything--Legal and moral
And most important be a kid again, where everything is new and exciting
I have been on one-day cruises only, to an island and back in the same day. Still a lot of fun.
No, but contemplating a Disney one this summer.
It is fun! %26gt;%26gt;
No I haven't. Not even one.
