Okayy, im going on a 7 day cruise this week. im a gay teenage boy. and im wanting to meet a cute guy on this cruise...only problem is that my family hates gays :/ (im in the closet) so how do i meet a gay guy and how do i escape the family long enough?I need advice from smart gay guys! (:?
First of all, how will you even know if a cute guy you see is gay or not? It's not easy to meet cute guys and certainly not easy to meet a cute gay guy!!! The thing is you won't know if a guy is gay or not, unless they tell you or if it's a gay cruise, or if they act feminine ect. You won't know if a guy you see is gay or not, the only thing you can do to see if he is gay is flirting with eye contact ect., but good luck with that.

Same goes for you, if other gay guys don't know that you are gay they are not going to make a move.

Yeah as for your family you need to come out, it's either that or misery forever you choose.

If they don't accept you for who you are, oh well. They don't like gays that's why they have a gay son, it's how it is. It's something call karma. They have you so that they can learn from you.

If they don't accept you for who you are, when you hit 18, move out and live a happy life, the life that you wanted.



It's not for sure that every cute guy you see is gay, so if you meet some, befriends with them and find out. You can always get away from your family for a night of fun and ecstasy. Once if you find a guy that's gay and want to hang out, said that you meet a new friend and wants to hang out with him, or a sleep over with your newly made friend!!!:)

A few years ago i thought my parents hated gay people as well... cause they always made hurtful remarks when they saw 2 guys holding hands or something so i had a secret relationship for about 2 months NO one knew lol But one day my parents saw us and they were a little shocked at first but then it blew over after a few days.



my point is, maybe your parents will come through for you and having a secret relationship seems fun and sneaky at first but then it gets down right tedious

I am going to sound like such a slut but here is my advice...hang out near the kitchens. If you like "exotic" guys who speak only a little bit of English (like me) then you will meet some very affable and horny guys in that area.

And they do get time off for quickies etc..

Hanging out by the pool watching boys is another idea.

Of course, there are many older people on these cruises so the kitchens might be a better idea!!

Cruises should have a "teen" area where you can get away from the family. You'll find some time, no worries. As far as meeting a gay guy, try and sneak some gay jewelry (like a pride bracelet or a rainbow wristband) to make yourself stick out from the crowd. Good luck!

the real problem will be finding someone your own age.
You really can't find a guy and date him, especially if you're family doesn't like gay people, and you're in the closet. My advice would be to wail until you get back home and date someone.
I'm a teen in the closet also it's hard....but all u can do is try Hot Topic is having a sale on all "gay pride" colthes and buttons
