Ideas for a last minute romantic day out?

It's me and my boyfriends 2 year anniversary tomorrow, and we bought a gift voucher for a three course meal on a Thames Cruise. Only problem is, we've just discovered the voucher can only be used on Friday, not tomorrow, so now we have no plans on the actual day of our anniversary. Any ideas for something we can plan last minute? not too expensive as we have to save our money for Friday!

We live in South East London and the weather is nearly always miserable.Ideas for a last minute romantic day out?
go to kettners in soho its such a nice resultant with a great atmosphere and it appears REALLY posh but its reasonably priced check out their website to get an idea of how much it costs and what food they have http://www.kettners.com/

hope that answers your question and happy anniversary :)
im not sure what you consider expensive but i would recommend a helicopter tour. even in bad weather it is really cool to be flying aboe a beautiful city like london. and would be very memorable aswell.Ideas for a last minute romantic day out?
A trip to the cinema? Leisure center? Short shopping trip maybe? Or maybe a London attraction such as the London eye or Tate modern?
Watch movies, have an indoor picnic, kiss in the rain, and play on the Wii
Lots of sex all day
Hello Rae G,

Please find below loads of ideas, with websites, opening times and maps....

Its well worth planning to do things that are roughly in the same area, this way you can spend more time enjoying yourself and less time travelling.

Below you will find a number of itineraries, i.e. activities that you can do in the same place, and some individual ideas....

I hope you have a nice time, whatever you chose to do.

9-6.00,Free.Tube: Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Park

Quintessentially British, Portobello Market is located in Notting Hill, famous district where the Afro-Carribbeans mix it up with the posh white heroine chique. Expect to find antiques, knick-knacks, expensive fashion and plenty of places to eat..

325 Portobello Road, Kensington, Greater London W10 5; *

# Borough Market

Thu-Sat; 11-5,Free.Tube: London Bridge

Eugenic society of vegetable lovers. Food-lovers paradise. Sucks in the highest quality food stock from all around the world, and then sells it to the highest bidders. An unbelieveable experience, whether you're looking for ingredients for a meal or you want to sample a tasty snack. Also has some rather good pubs located in its surrounds..

239 Borough High Street, Camberwell, Greater London SE1 1; *

# Columbia Road Flower Market

Sun, 8-3.00,Free.Tube: Hoxton Train Station

The most enchanting and beautiful markets, every Sunday morning mind, so you'll have to be up early. Listen to the cheeky cockney banter of the vendors, keen to shift their stock and get back home, and then later go for a coffee in one of the many coffee houses dotted around..

3 Ezra St, Londres E2 7RH; *

# Olympic Park Viewing Spot

London is sizing up to be hosts for the 2012 Olympics - you can watch the Olympic site in transition from a viewing spot and caf茅 located in what seems the middle of knowhere (East London)..

# British Museum

Come and see our loot! Yes, we most likely stole it from your country, so you have to come across to London and pay for it. So come, with gritted teeth, and see your country's heritage displayed amongst many others. Old temples, mummies, Pharoah, manuscripts, its all here....

Great Russell St, City of London WC1B 3DG; 020 7323 8000

# Hampstead Heath

0,Free.Tube: Hampstead, Hampstead Heath, Gospel Oak

Hampstead Heath is an old ancient heath siding up next to the equally old village of Hampstead, which is now engulfed by London, but has still managed to maintian its Dickensian, Victorian feel. The Heath is a wonder, expansive, hilly, grassy, simply beautiful. Come here to experience London life slowed down....

London; *

# Tate Modern

10-6.00,Free*.Tube: London Bridge; Waterloo; Southwark

It is possibly the place to go to, if you have any time free in London. Situated in the old coal factory on the South Bank it hosts some incredible exhibitions, the most striking of which is always located in the museum's huge turbine hall. And when I say huge I mean huge. Well worth a visit, and I'd check the book shop out too..

Bankside, London SE1; 020 7887 8888
